I got a new job 3 weeks ago (which explains the lack of posts here)… I work as a Xmas temporary in a departement store, for the Xmas departement, if you prefer i am santa claus new little helper. After 3 weeks working there, i still love to admire the beautiful decoration and lights…
What i can’t stand anymore, on the other side, are the not-decorated fake Christmas trees! Everytime i sell one, a customer asks me for another one, which is already sold out! Why everyone wants the ones that are sold out? I really wonder… There is plenty of choice, and plastic tree look all the same to me! Whatever…
Today i decorated my tree (picture above)… It’s a small plastic tree (approx. 30cm high) i have owned since the age 3. It looks kinda miserable whitout decorations… This year, i decided to decorate it with silver – purple – lilac colors.
And i love Hello Kitty cardboard trees too XD I own 2: one in pink which i found at the library in Dublin.
And i got this green one in Switzerland but i can’t remember where…
I went to the cinema yesterday to see the movie « A Christmas Carol » with Jim Carrey. It was great but definitely not for children… too scary for young ones i think. Jim Carrey is an amazing actor, i love him! I think the movie could have been shorter & i didn’t like the ghost of the present.
When i was young, i used to watch the Mickey Christmas Carol cartoon. I could watch it over and over again! Don’t you?
J’ai un nouveau job depuis 3 semaines (ce qui explique d’ailleurs le manque de mises à jour)… Je travaille comme « Renfort de Noël » ou Elfe du père noël, à choix, dans un grand magasin, et au rayon Noël. Même après 3 semaines, j’aime toujours regarder les boules de noël et les décorations magnifiques.
Par contre, ce que j’ai du mal à apprécier, ce sont ces stupides sapins en plastique ! A chaque fois que j’en vends un, un client me redemande le même 10 minutres plus tard, et bien sûr y’en a plus! Pourquoi tout le monde veut le même modèle? Je me demande… Pourtant c’est tous les mêmes sapins en plastique purée! Breeeeeef XD
Aujourd’hui, profitant de mon jour de congé, j’ai décoré mon sapin… C’est le même sapin que j’ai depuis toute petite, mon tout premier, un petit sapin en plastique d’env. 30 cm. Il est tout pourri sans décoration… Cette année je l’ai décoré en argenté-mauve-violet. Je l’aime bien!
Et j’ai 2 petits sapins en carton Hello Kitty aussi, dont ce rose tout chou que j’ai acheté l’année passée en Irlande.
Et ce vert plus traditionnel que j’ai trouvé en Suisse, mais je ne sais malheureusement plus où…
Hier je suis allée voir le film « Le drôle de Noël de Scrooge » avec Jim Carrey. J’ai bien aimé, mais je pense que ce n’est pas vraiment un film pour enfant… les « méchants » font assez peur. Jim Carrey est encore génial, je l’adore! Le film est un peu long je trouve, mais les effets et l’animation sont impressionnants.
Quand j’étais petite je regardais Le Noël de Mickey, adaptation du conte de Charles Dickens aussi, je pourrais le regarder encore et encore, pas vous?
